Portals: the dimensional imagery of Digital Atelier May 15th - July 17, 2011
Dorothy Simpson Krause, Karin Schminke and Bonny Lhotka will transport the viewer into other dimensions using lenticular printmaking technology, phantograms, and other ways of presenting dimensional imagery. While conceptually portals may refer to grand and imposing entrances, it may also refer to a technological gateway to other realms. The artists of Digital Atelier will use their mastery of materials and media to present a body of work that explores the concept of Portals as both a present reality and as a bridge to artificial worlds past, present and future.
