Karin will be featured in the second edition of Sue Bloom's "Digital Collage and Painting". It will be released by Focal Press in 2010 and will feature 21 artists from around the world. Her chapter will explore the creative process from concept to completion behind a new work which combines both digital printing and laser engraving on aluminum.

Karin was an artist-in-residence from April 19-26 at the Whiteley Center in Friday Harbor, Washington. She created photos and drawings to be incorporated into new works to be digitally engraved on painted alumunum. The Whiteley Center is run by the University of Washington and was devleoped to provide "a refuge for established scholars and artists to study, write, create, and interact with collaborators in a peaceful and quiet environment."
